Tour description
A varied high mountain route in the Rätikon. With a breathtaking view, it goes through the Gauertal to Latschau
Approach
Coming from Bludenz on the B188, you must turn at the junction on the main street before Schruns towards Tschagguns and drive to Latschau.
Public transport
Alternatively, this section can also be walked from the mountain station Golmerbahn.
The regional buses of the Montafonerbahn operate throughout Montafon. The main lines run hourly from Schruns station.
From Schruns station, take bus line 1 to the Golmerbahn in Latschau. The stop is: "Golmerbahn".
For the return journey
With bus line 1, you get back from Latschau to Schruns station.
Arrival by train
The Montafonerbahn runs hourly (partly every half hour) from Bludenz station. There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and Bregenz.
Directions
From the Lindauer Hütte, you walk with the Drei Türme at your back past the lower Sporaalpe and the Gauertalhaus, which is ideal for a short break before you reach your car again.
Equipment
Good, ankle-high hiking boots with a good profile, take enough food and drinks, hiking poles are recommended.
