Just leave your car parked

The rural buses of the Montafon Railway operate throughout Montafon. The main lines run hourly from Schruns station. You can reach Schruns from Bludenz station via the Montafon Railway. There, change to bus line 85 and take the bus to the "Explorer" stop in Gaschurn.

For the return trip:

From Gaschurn, take bus line 85 to Schruns station. From Schruns, return to Bludenz via the Montafon Railway.

Arrival by train

The Montafon Railway departs from Bludenz station hourly (sometimes every half hour). Direct connections are also available from Lindau (D) and Bregenz.

Parking

Free parking spaces are available at Mountain Beach Leisure Park.

Directions

The route starts at Mountain Beach Leisure Park in Gaschurn. Follow the path downstream along the Ill.

You cross the wooden bridge and continue to the Kneipp facility. There you cross another bridge and return upstream along the cycle path back to Mountain Beach Leisure Park.
