Directions
From the Wiesbadener Hut, the service road leads through the Ochsental to the Silvretta Lake. At the mouth of the Ill, turn left and shortly after turn left again into the Klostertal towards the Saarbrücker Hut. After about 1 hour, the path leads off to the right over the Klostertaler Bach up into the Verhupftäli and further to the Litzner Sattel / Saarbrücker Hut. Sure-footedness is required on this section. From the Litzner Sattel, you can reach the Saarbrücker Hut in about 50 minutes.
Alpine mountain path – may include safety ropes and footholds!
Equipment
Sturdy footwear, rain jacket, and gloves are highly recommended
Tips
Due to the high demand at the huts, we recommend reserving sleeping places directly at the huts early enough.
