St. Anton am Arlberg – Verwallsee – Schönverwall – Langsee – Fresch Alpe- Untere Gafluna Alpe – Gasthaus Fellimännle – Teufelsbach Waterfall – Silbertal Center - Sports Field Silbertal

The shorter variant of the Montafon Arlberg Marathon also invites hikers and walkers to a breathtaking day route from St. Anton am Arlberg to Silbertal. The mountain path over the Silbertaler Winterjöchle past Langsee is probably the most beautiful way to cross the border from Tyrol to Vorarlberg. The path leads downhill past Alpe Fresch and Alpe Gafluna. Shortly before the finish, the legendary Teufelsbach Waterfall promises a welcome cooling-off. Of course, this route can be done all summer long.

St. Anton am Arlberg – public parking spaces are available

A nature experience in pristine mountain landscape. St. Anton am Arlberg is located at 1,300 m above sea level, and in 2019 the Montafon Arlberg Marathon started here for the first time. Immediately after the start in town, the route follows away from car traffic toward Verwallsee. The mountain path across the Silbertaler Winterjöchle past Langsee is probably the most beautiful way to pass the border from Tyrol to Vorarlberg. The path leads downhill past Alpe Fresch and Alpe Gafluna toward Silbertal (889 m). From the legendary Teufelsbach Waterfall, a short loop leads through the village center of Silbertal back to the sports field Silbertal.
