Hike along the Rätikon Panorama Trail

This scenic hike takes you along one of the most picturesque panoramic trails in the Montafon, offering consistently breathtaking views of the Three Towers - the Montafon’s iconic landmark - and the striking limestone landscape of the Rätikon. This varied loop hike starts at the Grüneck mountain station and heads uphill to the first peak, the Golmer Joch (2,124 m). You then hike along the ridge, sometimes slightly uphill, sometimes downhill, continuing to the second peak, the Kreuzjoch (2,261 m), before descending into the picturesque Gauertal valley, where a stop for refreshments rounds off the day perfectly. Sure-footedness is required for this tour.

Meeting point: 9:00 a.m. Golmerbahn bus stop in Latschau

Duration: approx. 5 hours (walking time only: approx. 4 hours)

Route: Grüneck mountain station – Golmerjoch – Kreuzjoch – Latschätzalpe – Matschwitz mid-station or descent into the Gauertal Ascent and descent: approx. 500 m elevation gain / approx. 900 m elevation gain

Refreshment stop: Obere Latschätzalpe
