Tour description
Lindauer Hütte - Gauertal - Latschau
You can reach Lindauer Hütte on foot from Latschau via the winter hiking trail in about 2.5 hours.
The Gauertal, with its impressive peaks of Sulzfluh, Drei Türme, and Drusenfluh, is one of the most beautiful valley ends in the Alps. In this natural jewel in the Rätikon mountain massif on the Swiss border, you get to know the maize fields and "Schraga fences" that are so important for the Montafon cultural landscape.
The natural sledding run from Lindauer Hütte through the Gauertal to Latschau is one of the longest sledding runs in Montafon. Plenty of fun sledding is definitely guaranteed. The approximately 6.5 km long hike with about 700 meters of elevation through the impressive winter landscape involves a slight continuous ascent.
Sleds can be rented at the hut. There are enough sleds available; no reservation is necessary.
