Tour description
The route combines hiking, nature experience, and culinary delights. The starting point of the summit route is the mountain station of the Kristbergbahn. High up, the path leads relaxed through the mining-shaped landscape. Through the mystical Muttwald, past blueberry bushes and alpine roses, the route leads to Muttjöchle with wonderful views of the Montafon mountains and the Arlberg.
The hike to Muttjöchle is a beautiful summit hike that rewards you with a fantastic panoramic view in the Verwall. This leisurely hike through the Muttwald up to the summit invites you to enjoy and relax. But not only the hike to the summit becomes a pleasure, also at your stop at the Panoramagasthof Kristberg you can pamper yourself with regional delicacies in cozy Montafon atmosphere.
If the hike is too short for you, you can simply continue to Sonnenkopf on the Muttjöchle circular hike via the Upper and Lower Wasserstubenalpe and the Wild Ried raised bog back to Kristberg.
