Tour description
The Montafon Silvretta Circuit means: glaciers, barren rocks, no vegetation. On this long-distance trail, the entire character of the inhospitable and impressive Silvretta becomes tangible. In three stages, the route leads from Bielerhöhe past the highest mountains of Vorarlberg and over to Switzerland up to the tongue of the Silvretta Glacier. The circuit returns to the Silvretta lake through the Klostertal.
A route for mountain enthusiasts who appreciate the natural beauty of the mountain world as well as refined regional cuisine. The hiking trails lead through the Silvretta past glaciers and the highest mountains of Vorarlberg. The impressive high-alpine character of the Silvretta is perceptible and tangible with every step and shapes this stage hike.
Important: For this demanding route, you should plan your personal daily sections and reserve overnight stays at the huts in advance!
